Store Manager, Full Time; based at Craven Arms
The Retail Division currently has in excess of 380 staff operating from some 43 sites, offering a mix of agricultural, pet, equine, household, and garden products to suit our wide range of customers.
We now have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who enjoys working with people and likes the challenge and responsibility of running a store, and sharing fresh ideas to assist with developing and driving the business forward.
You will play an important role in assisting the Regional Business Manager with strategy implementation, promoting and maximising sales within the store, together with maximising margins and controlling those costs over which you have influence.
To be considered, you must have an agricultural background together with some retail experience, though we are willing to speak to candidates with a range of backgrounds. Taking a hands-on approach, you will also have a positive and self-motivated attitude, possess excellent communication skills, customer focused and be an efficient accurate worker flexible in taking on a wide range of tasks and challenges in a fast paced working environment.

HGV Fitter Full Time, Based at Llansantffraid, Powys (near Oswestry)
The Role: We now require a HGV fitter with previous experience to join our garage team and play an important role in the safe and effective operation of the servicing function. Reporting to the garage supervisor, you will use your own initiative to conduct the whole range of proactive and reactive servicing routines including responding to breakdowns and other issues as they arise. Naturally, you will be able to demonstrate familiarity with related ministry requirements.
The Candidate: Applicants must be hardworking, conscientious, and be capable of performing a very physical role that includes manual handling. Owing to the nature of the work, you must also be extremely safety conscious and flexible in your approach to working hours. A current HGV licence would also be useful.

The Role: Working within a high performance culture, you will be required to safely collect, load, transport and deliver multiple drops in a 7.5t heavy goods vehicle, while providing a quality standard of service to our customers. The Candidate: To be considered, you will possess a HGV C1 or C Licence. GrainLink Trainee Forwarder / Contract Administrator Full Time, Based at Shrewsbury, Shropshire
The Role: Your role will be to support the existing forwarding team assisting in day to day logistics of traded grain. You will support staff in contract execution, maintaining contracts database and recording contract compliance.You will also assist with industry audit compliance which will include aspects of environmental, health and food safety.
The Candidate: The right candidate will ideally have some understanding of the trading environment, and in particular be familiar with some aspects of the grain market, along with strong knowledge of the agricultural industry.
You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels and have previous experience in good customer relations management. Computer literacy is also required along with taking an organised approach to administration.
