New agricultural supply store to serve mid and West Wales

A new farm and country store, selling a range of agricultural, equine, pet food, household and hardware products, will open in Tregaron on Tuesday 26 th January 2010.

The new Wynnstay store will provide customers across mid and West Wales with a wider choice of products and will offer something for everyone: from sheep and cattle farmers to horse-owners, pet lovers, DIY enthusiasts and country dwellers. The store will also serve as a focal point for the region’s farmers to seek specialist advice with regards to the use of a range of agricultural products including nutritional supplements and animal health products.

The new Wynnstay Store, which has been purpose built on Station Road, Tregaron, SY25 6HY will be officially opened at 2:00pm on Tuesday 26 th January 2010.

The store is easily accessible from the A485 Lampeter to Aberystwyth road, and is housed in a brand new, state-of-the-art building, which will provide a total of 6,000 square feet of space, including a large animal feed warehouse and a 1,000 sq ft retail facility. “The store is ideally located for local residents and customers travelling from further afield, with easy access for farmers from across Powys and Cardiganshire,” describes Andrew Evans, retail director for Wynnstay. “There is also ample parking, making it easy for farmers and other country dwellers to collect the more bulky items that the store will stock.”

“The opening of the new store at Tregaron demonstrates Wynnstay’s commitment to the region. Our business continues to grow and we look forward to forging strong relationships with customers, both old and new, from across mid-Wales,” says Mr Evans. “Our customers will be able to benefit from an expanding range of quality products at competitive prices, and will also be able to take advantage of the experience and expertise of our knowledgeable staff.”
