new wynnstay store leominster

A brand new farm and country store selling a range of agricultural, equine, pet food, household and hardware products is due to be opened in Leominster in early March.

The new Wynnstay store will provide customers in the area with a wider choice of products and will offer

something for everyone: from sheep and cattle farmers to horse-owners, pet lovers, DIY enthusiasts and country dwellers. The store will be run by Alan and Gill Dickson who specialise in advising farmers on the use of a range of agricultural products including nutritional supplements, dairy hygiene chemicals, and animal health products.

The new Wynnstay Store, which is located at Unit 4 on Southern Avenue in Leominster, will officially be opened at 12:00 noon on Monday 2 nd March by the company’s chief executive, Ken Greetham.

The store is easily accessible from the A44 and A49, and is housed in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility, which will provide a total of 7,200 square feet of space. “The store is ideally located for local residents and customers travelling from further afield, with easy access from all sides of the town,” describes Andrew Evans, retail director for Wynnstay. “There is also ample parking making it easy for farmers and other country dwellers to collect the more bulky items that the store will stock.”

As part of the store’s opening celebrations, Wynnstay will be offering a 10% discount on selected items and visitors will also be able to enjoy complimentary locally produced food and drink.

“At a time when many high street shops are facing difficult times, Wynnstay is very pleased to be expanding its chain of country stores,” says Mr Evans. “The new store has already created one new job in the town and we are hopeful that more job opportunities will be created in the near future.

“Our business continues to go from strength to strength and this success is based on the principles of providing high quality products at great value prices,” Mr Evans adds. “And with such an experienced team running the store, our farming customers will also be able to tap into a wealth of animal health advice.

“Everyone is welcome to attend the opening ceremony and we look forward to meeting the residents of Leominster, and are very excited about forging strong relationships with a new network of customers across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the bordering counties.”
