Farm store open days provide focus ahead of summer harvest Wynnstay is hosting a series of harvest product open days throughout April and May to offer professional and timely advice to farmers in advance of this summer’s silage, hay and cereals harvests. The open days are being held at 12 of Wynnstay’s agricultural supply stores across North and Mid Wales and the West Midlands.

The events are being run in collaboration with crop packaging specialists from companies such as British Polythene Industries (BPI), Volac, Tama UAT, and Trident who will be in attendance to offer practical advice and knowledge aimed at ensuring that farmers achieve the best results from this year’s harvest.

Visitors to the open days will be able to take advantage of a number of in-store price reductions and promotional offers on a range of silage sheets, bale wrap and net wrapping products including 10% off Trident secure crop covers and 20% off silage tapes.

“The summer harvest season is the culmination of 12 months hard work for farmers and it is essential that every effort is taken to ensure the fruits of their labours are properly cared for,” explains Charlie Hughes, senior product manager for Wynnstay. “The purpose of the open days is to provide advice and support to our farming customers ahead of the busy summer period and to ensure that they are equipped with the very best products and knowledge to ensure a successful and profitable harvest.”
