New store give community full
retail mix.
Wynnstay has recently completed the development of their
Station Road store in Gaerwen, Anglesey which now offers
the community a fantastic selection under one roof.
The store has been extended by upgrading the warehouse
and now has a floor space of 2,100sq.ft.

| The extension has enabled additional stock
to be introduced, offering customer a much superior choice
as well as demonstrating Wynnstay’s continual commitment
to the area.
When asked about the recent development, retail marketing
manager, Andrew Evans, said: “The new store at Gaerwen
has enabled us to increase the stock lines we carry to include
equine, pet and household products, so we are a now one stop
shop for everything.”
“We have utilised the additional space generated by
bringing in products which every household needs and hope
the store continues to provide the community with a vital
resource.”
The transformation has taken 8 weeks and has been a substantial
financial investment for Wynnstay. The previous store has
now been demolished.
As well as greater choice, the store is now open on Saturday
mornings till 12 mid-day and has created new jobs. Two new
positions have been created – one full time and one
part time, and store manager Merfyn Roberts sees a positive
future for the store.
He said: “Since the refurbishment we’ve had some
very positive feedback from our customers and we are looking
forward to welcoming everyone to the store.”
