Llansantffraid shoppers celebrate store’s birthday in aid of Children in Need
More than 100 local residents attended an open day to mark the first birthday of the joint Wynnstay and Spar store in Llansantffraid on Saturday 29 November. Guests enjoyed a complimentary Christmas drink and mince pie as well as being treated to free samples from a range of local food producers. A wide selection of Christmas gift promotions added to the festivities while children’s face painting along with other activities during November raised more than £300 for Children in Need. |
“The birthday celebrations were a great success and we were delighted to be able to celebrate the store’s first anniversary with our loyal customers,” commented Andrew Evans, retail director for Wynnstay.
