New REVIVA Cow Drink A revolutionary reviving drink for freshly calved cows widely used in Holland and Germany is now proving its worth on farms in the UK. Reviva , a unique formulation comprising of glucose, soluble calcium, vitamins, trace elements and electrolytes has been designed as an immediate post-calving drink which will provide essential energy, promote rapid rehydration and at the same time helping to prevent milk fever.

In addition Reviva contains Greenline, which stimulates appetite and intestinal function.

The essential trace element fraction of the drink will help stimulate the cow’s immune system, thereby reducing the risk of infections. For example Reviva contains at least 10 times as much Vitamin E than is found in normal concentrate-based supplement. What’s more, Greenline contains a unique stimulant which will encourage freshly calved cows to achieve maximum dry matter intakes as quickly as possible.

The drink is totally soluble, easy to make up and the high glucose content makes it very palatable from the cow’s point of view. Reviva comes in powder form and 1kg is mixed with 5 litres of hot water, turning orange in colour. This is then made up to 15-20 litres by adding cool water and the warm solution is offered to the cow immediately post calving.

The powder is packed in 6kg and 20kg plastic buckets and contains a measuring jug.
