People’s lives have become more
and more demanding in the 21st century and wild birds
are a welcome relief from the daily stresses. However
feeding them and encouraging them to live within your
garden is no longer a seasonal activity.
As we enter National Nest Box Week (14 - 21 February),
people are being encouraged to put nesting boxes in
their garden, but as well as the boxes the birds also
need a balanced diet.
|
To help bird lovers do this, the Feathered Friends range
of bird food has been relaunched and now includes four brand
new varieties which are sure to keep the birds visiting your
garden.
As well as supplying birds with a great choice and encouraging
a huge variety in to your garden, Feathered Friends Bird Seed
also comes with helpful tips which help your feathery friends
maintain a balanced diet and keep them returning to your garden.
When asked about the new varieties available, Wynnstay’s
Hayley Evans, said: “We now have six different choices
including the Wild Bird Seed Mixture, previously known as
the All Seasons Bird Food. Wild birds are becoming more and
more popular as people enjoy watching them, but one thing
they don’t realise is that they quickly become dependent
on you, so once you start feeding them, you have to continue.
“Depending on the type of seed you put out you can get
over 25 different species visiting your garden, so it can
be very enjoyable to start feeding the wildlife.”
Feathered Friends is available in all Wynnstay stores and
to help get you started, there is even a special offer running.
Packs start from £1.59.
