tGrowHow distributors are continuing to take samples and analysis will continue throughout the year.
The Malate Sulphate test is the most reliable indicator of the Sulphur status of the grass. Distributor fieldsmen take the youngest leaves form aproximately 30 different plants across the field. The leaves are dried if wet and sent to the laboratory for analysis. Deficient samples result in a malate:sulphate ratio of more than 1.5.
