Fertiliser security remains a major issue for everyone involved with Agriculture. There are pressures from Government bodies to ensure that security measures are implemented at all levels in the industry.
The Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme (FIAS) has been introduced to ensure that the sale of all fertilisers is as secure possible. Wynnstay do not hold the traditional high Nitogen products (Oxidising Agents) in stores but there are still many restrictions on the supply of any other fertilisers containg lower levels of Ammonium Nitrate.

Farm deliveries direct from the factories will not be affected, however, a record of a Haulier and exact delivery point is required. Once on the farm customers are encouraged to follow the Governmen guidelines for fertiliser storage.
